Hokay, since the last time I posted was at the beginning of the month, here is a little update:
On Nanowrimo I have about 10,000+ words written, which means I have two weeks to write about 40,000. (Yikes!) In other words: I probably won't get the entire 50,000 words written this month. Oh well, I'll keep on trying, who knows? I might surprise myself and make it!
Recently I did my first meme!
I didn't draw any of the pictures though. I took them from the interwebs. (See the disclaimer.)
And I updated my two 100 Themes:

And, I stole this from
THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.
STEP ONE
** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.
** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!
STEP TWO
** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
------------------------------
1) A ticket to go and see The Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic theatre in NYC in May.
2) Artwork of my characters.
3) An editor. (Really. I need someone to yell at me and give me good feedback on what I'm trying to write before I post it.)
4) A Christmas with all of my familiy together (including neices/nephews/and brother/sisters-in-law)
5) A camera to call my own. (The one I currently use belongs to my dad.)
6) A vocal teacher to improve my singing voice.
7) Christmas piano music! Especially the classic songs that little kids love to sing. (I play piano at our church for the little kids.)
8) More musical soundtracks. This is the main genre I listen to, other than movie soundtracks.
9) Disney soundtracks. (as in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lion King. The good old classics)
10) Well . . . one thing that I really wish I had is a good pair of headphones. For some reason the left ear always goes out. Currently I'm using a really old pair, but some new ones that loop around and cover the entire ear would be wonderful.

P.S.
No story with this one. It's late and I have school tomorrow. Next time I'll try and post a little more.

But how quickly we forget
Such a sure and perfect plan
And unlearn the passion
That once had burned
Where I go to ease my mind, you can-not follow. For if you follow, I can-not guarentee that you will come back the same person.

Fly for your dreams.
For every rose in the garden, a thorn lies both outside and within.
Years are achieved as they pass by, but are greatly missed as you move up.
